Library is specialized in public health.
Its fund is following the fields of interest developing at the School: medicine
(general), general/family practice, medical education, microbiology, virology,
immunology, medical informatics, epidemiology, public health, occupational health,
food and nutrition, water research.
Journals represent the most valuable and used part of the Library collection.
More than 300 journals are received regularly either through subscription, as
a gift or on exchange basis. There are many journals that are available in their
electronic forms having either free access or through their regular subscription.
Library is opened to the users from all institutions all around the country.
Since 1992 the Library is WHO Documentation Centre for the Republic of Croatia
and depository library for WHO publications. All requests regarding WHO should
be addressed to us.
The Library participates in the project 'Scientific Information System of Republic
of Croatia- Biomedicine', which aim is to connect the libraries and offer their
funds to the public through the Internet. |
